Delete your account & data
You can delete your Elimufy account and personal data at any time. Here's how, and what happens.

How to request deletion
Choose either option:
- Email us from the email address on your account: info@kenzobe.com with the subject "Delete my Elimufy account". We may ask one question to confirm it's you.
- WhatsApp / phone: +254 720 036 429.
For a child's account, a parent, guardian, or the child's school may request deletion the same way.
What gets deleted
- Your profile (name, email, phone, school/region, display name).
- The material you uploaded (notes, photos, PDFs, topics).
- Your learning data — answers, concept mastery, tutor courses, and progress.
- Your remaining credit balance (credits have no cash value and are not refunded — see the Refund Policy).
What we may keep, and why
- Transaction records — limited payment/receipt records we're required to keep for legal, tax, and anti-fraud purposes, for the period required by Kenyan law.
- Aggregated statistics — anonymised data that no longer identifies you.
- Anything we're legally required to retain.
How long it takes
We complete deletion within 30 days of confirming your request and let you know when it's done. Backups are purged on their normal rotation.
